The *ISCCM Chennai branch* recently hosted *OBSCRIT, an Obstetric Critical Care* workshop at *Government Kasturba Gandhi Hospital* on 22nd January 2025 and it turned out to be a very well received academic event! We had an enthusiastic crowd of Obstetricians, Anesthetists and Senior Professors who stayed till the very end. The sessions covered every relevant topic – from bleeding and hypertensive disorders to sepsis, respiratory failure, fluid management, hyperbilirubinemia and CPR during pregnancy – delivered through various formats – Engaging panel discussions and Interactive case-based learning as well as lectures.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants appreciating the practical insights and high-quality sessions. One senior professor even mentioned that these sessions will definitely level up their obstetric critical care practices, which made it a very rewarding venture!
In short, OBSCRIT turned out to be an excellent mix of learning, collaboration, and enthusiasm! With all the enthusiasm from the participants and faculty, it’s safe to say this workshop set the bar high for future events, with the participants asking for more!
